I could have danced all night
My entry for moly_x_38 Since I was a kid I have always liked religious iconography. I remember that on the rare occasions I went to church (I dont have any religion) I used to look the paintings there. Once I asked who where the men on the paintings and an aunt of mine told me dont point your finger, is rude. I still dont know who most of them are and I still dont know why is rude to point at painting. imitatio dei |

also have at least recently had a fascination with christian religious art (possibly because the art history we've had of late the periods are dominated by it), despite being Jewish. currently especially fascinated by churches.

Ciertamente, no es muy buena costumbre apuntar con el dedo a las criaturas celestiales, sobre todo si están en el interior de ese paraíso que es el templo. de niño fui con mi madre a ver las bellas piernas de los ángeles y sus flamígeras espadas, sus ojos de adolescente y sus magníficas cabelleras y vestimentas. Si no fueran mujeres me habría olvidado de los ángeles. si las mujeres no fueran ángeles me habría olvidado de mí mismo. Efraín Huerta agonizaba mirando en el vacío el batir de las alas de los ángeles que ya venían por él. No es necesario morir para verles a los ojos.

I imagine that in europe the religious art has to be amazing. I've seen some of it on books. I hope one day I'll go and see it for myself
